Demolition Girl (2009)

Today, I would like to present to you a totally weird Japanese game called Demolition Girl, which was released on the Sony Playstation 2 console in 2009 and is not very well known.

Let's start with the plot, which is so absurd that only the aforementioned Japanese can understand it. A certain Riho Futa is bitten by a strange animal during a photo shoot on the beach and loses consciousness. When she wakes up, she realizes that she has grown to the size of a large building.

Right from the start of the game, I had some reservations. If the girl has grown to such a size, how come her skimpy bikini has also grown with her? And that's not the end of the absurdities.

The game is divided into six short missions in which Anime fans (you know, those who have never seen a real woman...) can fulfill their sick fantasies by "helping" Riho return to normal size.

In the first mission, we pilot a helicopter and our task is to examine the model. So we fly around her breasts, thighs, and some smaller parts of her body "scanning" them and collecting data. The second mission involves putting the giant girl to sleep with powerful sleeping pills. Of course, we aim at the model's sensitive body parts ;) And it only gets more interesting from there... The game ends with a King Kong remake in which our model plays the role of the hairy ape...
The game is not difficult, the tasks are obvious, and you really can't get lost here. Unfortunately, the controls in the game leave a lot to be desired. All the vehicles that we use to help Riho are controlled very sluggishly. A small hint: it seems to me that playing with the d-pad is much better than using the analog sticks.

Unfortunately, the game is very boring. Just flying around behind the scantily clad blonde, whose behavior we barely control, won't keep you glued to the screen for more than two hours.

Luckily, completing this absurdity won't take you even two hours, and that's probably good news because as I mentioned, the game is boring, repetitive, and essentially a one-time experience. The game also includes some achievements that allow us to unlock a few photos of Riho and some types of trinkets available as a secret after completing the entire game.

Demolition Girl today.

I'm wondering whether to recommend this title for you to play. It seems to me that such a dose of creativity is not found every day in console games. On the other hand, this game is a low-budget production and it shows at every step.

The game is correctly emulated on PCSX2, so the choice is yours whether you want to help Riho return to normal size 😉.
